Thank you for the reply. Can anybody comment on how elite upgrades go out of LAX/SNA/SAN to the East Coast? Are any routes better than others to give a better chance? I was happy at UA but no more. I'd make at least gold each year and maybe Plat/CP (definitely would this year with fast track).

And OP sorry to hijack your thread, but I am also contemplating US so we're kind of in the same boat on different oceans.
