Coming back from DFW on Thursday, I took a short walk to the DL gates at Terminal E and found a pervert-o-vision free checkpoint relatively easily. I almost used the checkpoint closer to the US counters there, but when I saw that TSA had an employee just standing there and blocking off the WTMD I decided to go elsewhere. It's amazing that someone actually has a job that just involves standing there and blocking the WTMD... welfare at work, I guess.
DCA on Tuesday had TWO people blocking the metal detector. For the first time in my short opt-out career the guy behind me opted out as well. We discussed why the second guy was just standing there looking straight ahead as we made fun of him. Eventually they made him do my companion's grope. It was amazing how slow the line moved. 20 minutes for 6 people. Every single person through the nude-o-scope got groped. Several had to wait for me to get my grope due to the double opt out. So much for technology.
