Int'l Reward bookings on Co.com never seem to get confirmed
Hi, all,
I have tried several times in the last few weeks to book saver awards to Asia on Co.com. There seems to be plenty of availability and Co.com lets me choose flights and seats and shows a "purchase summary" when I am done booking.
As appears to be standard with Continental, I then immediately get an email with a message stating: "We are still processing your reservation and will send you an e-ticket receipt confirming your reservation once our processing is complete, which may take up to three hours".
The last several times I did this (most recently last night) I NEVER got a follow-up showing that my issue has been ticketed -- and indeed it has NOT been ticketed.
I am a 1K so I could book this by phone. But, like many of us, I like the convenience of booking myself online. Can you tell me if you have experienced this, what might be going on and/or if there's a way to avoid it?
