Non-working AVOD
Hi All,
The other day I was on a BA flight from JFK-LHR, in economy.
The IFE system was completely broken on my seat, and the light was also not working. The flight crew were very apologetic, but the flight was completely full, and there was simply nowhere to move me to. So, I basically had to just sit there for 7 hours...
BA customer services have emailed me and offered 5k avios. From doing a quick test booking (LHR-Malaga), comparing cash to booking with avios, this appears to be worth around 20 quid - which seems a bit underwhelming at first glance compared to the original cost of my flight.
Do you think I would be justified in pushing for something further?
