Connecting to UA 9609 leaving at 1:40pm for Lisbon
I looked up on the LHR website, it's terminal 1 to terminal 1. MCT is 60min.
So from experience of you folks here. With the 1:20 connection time, will my bags make. T1 to T1.

It sounds like you are on one PNR (ticket)? If so, T1>T1 in 1:20 should be more than fine. TATL flights can be early, possibly giving you more time.

Your flight will arrive a good long walk from immigration/security check: 10-15 mins walk in fact. Follow the sign for "Flight Connections". When you get to immigration/security, stay to the left and you will go through a passport check and re-screening. You will end up in the main *A departures area, with transfer desks (including TAP). As you are *G (and/or traveling C/J), you will likely have time to stop into the *A lounge before heading to your flight to LIS. Your bags should make the connection easily.
