And as you found out, Cebu Pacific's lack of customer care is legendary. From not being able to use foreign credit cards to book online to cancelled flights with no good option to rebook. Just search this forum, and you'll see several threads, not to mention other boards.

Over the past 5 years have used a US based credit card to purchase tickets on CP a number of times. I have also used a Thai based debit MasterCard branded debit card on occasion.

I used to really like 5J when it was the "little kid" on the block (back in the day when they were partners with NWA). They had fun flights and decent if not good service. Now, 5J seems less appealing to me. They seem less accommodating than before. I still fly them when I travel their routes because they have the right connection times for my international flights; and their prices are lower than PAL. I want to try Zest Air but have not yet found an opportunity to give them my business.
