I would have to agree.
Seeing that Amex has so many offices around the globe, and has been in the travelers chq/ charge card business for a while, I would be shocked at anything more than 24 hours (especially if the card does not include chip)
Despite the cards benefits , its been hit and miss with Amex (canada) customer service.
