Emirates: Makes people feel welcome and appreciated. There was no single flight were I was not personally welcomed by the head purser thanking me for flying with EK again and asking if I need anything. They make it a nice show.

Qatar: 90% not welcomed at all. 10% briefly welcomed but without any attempt to make you feel special.
