Missed you by a day. I'm flying out on the 24th. FYI, Sheraton AKL is a good 25 mins walk from the Pier. I wouldn't mind walking from the Hotel to DT, but the other way involves a uphill climb, and is not for the faint-hearted

The Airbus (NZ$13 ow), drops you right outside the Sheraton AKL.
