It's my first time posting on FlyerTalk, so please bear with me.

My DH and I are planning a trip in June, to SYD and DPS. We will be travelling from DME. We want to visit SYD for a week in Mid June and also visit Bali (DPS) for a week. DPS can be done before or after SYD. Then we return to DME. I want to make as few layovers as possible, ideally each trip would be non-stop, but I am sure this is highly unlikely.

In December we went with CX to AKL via HKG, pretty good all round in terms of cost, comfort, efficiency, so prepared to go CX again. Plus have relative in HK to 'stop over' with if there is long layover. Not sure how CX or other carriers compare though, especially given the routing of the trip.

Which carriers do you recommend? Look forward to your input.
