Well, same-day returns won't be charged twice when using Octopus, but only at HKD 60 as incentive to take Airport Express instead of bus or MTR+bus.
But I still think you need 7x single/same-day-return rides of each HKD 60, resulting in HKD 420 if I made no mistake - not that I'm the brain-fried here... Still quite good earning for HKD 0.84/AM. No idea how you came up with HKD 240 with 6 RT+1.
But if you're not commuting to the airport for work on daily basis, and if you e.g. really go to the airport for flying often, then there's not much saving/gain in comparison to buying 1-month return tickets for HKD 110.
