So I'm on JFK-RIC today on EMB145.....

Flight isn't completely full and I see a JetBlue pilot is deadheading in seat 11C. He has no seatmate..... All is well until the DYKWIA guy in 12C (exit row with a ton of extra space) leans over the seat and HANDS HIT JACKET TO THE GUY IN 12C and asks "if he minds if he puts his coat in the empty seat next to him (11B) so it doesn't get wrinkeled....

Can you actually believe this? The look on the guy's face in 11C said it all..... I truly believe if he wasn't in a JetBlue uniform he would have told this turd where to stick his jacket, but instead, he put it in the seat......

Bonehead (Mr. Jacket) in 12C was also the one whose crackberry kept chiming well after the boarding door had been closed and we had all been asked to turn off our electronics.

As I was exiting, I mentioned to the deadheading pilot that, frankly, he was a better man than me.... I would have seriously told the guy where he could stick his jacket.

This is why flying sucks today....
