While there is no "rule", Southwest tends to run fewer night flights, especially in colder climates, in the winter. This is just based on my observations, but in the summer there are many more flights in the 9:00 hour than winter. I don't see anything odd about this...

i pulled up a random June schedule and there is a flight to RDU that leaves at 9:15.
