I think I’ve missed the chance to submit requests for jpwawson’s trip on BA001 at this point (!), but I do have a question about First seating.

Are 2A/K still considered to be good seats when travelling with another person? Would 2A and 3A bring any benefits, or do they feel more separate from each other? It’s my first First, so not sure how remote a travelling companion across the nose would seem. We can dine using the buddy seat (he is smaller than I am!) and for the rest I am sure we can accommodate the separation.

It’s just a friend, so we most definitely do not need to be “holding hands during the flight” (as someone memorably described it here recently!), but it is his first time in any longhaul premium cabin (courtesy of my 2-4-1…I thought I would start him at the top so that all future travel will be a disappointment ) so no doubt we will have things to talk about in flight.
