So, I've been saving my Alaska miles for a good long while and I wanted to use 'em to upgrade my Delta flight HNL->LAS. I booked the lowest fare online, then called the Delta rep., who had to go on hold, prob. to ask a supervisor, and then told me I can't use them. Is this normal? Any advice how to get a 1st class upgrade?
