I just went back and looked at their emails. Turns out they need all the printing and signing and faxing if you use American Express (which I do).
And speaking of American Express, Jet also won't let you cancel a simple revenue ticket online if you paid using Amex.
I wonder why that's the case? Other airlines (Indian and foreign, in India and abroad) seem to have no such issues.
