KSA doesn't issue tourist visas, so unless you know someone who could invite/sponsor, you're out of luck.
The causeway is impressive from an engineering perspective, but the other end (Dammam, Khobar, etc) is pretty unremarkable.
You'll find plenty of Saudis to talk to in the bars in Bahrain
