Had to share this personal experience. Over the years I slowly swore off the other majors after they royally screwed me in some way. UA being the worst.

Yesterday, I was doing 2 quick turns SFO-DFW/ORD. When I checked in to the AC at that point I had 3/4 seats booked back middle. The AAngel when I mention my upcoming trip to MGA, mentioned she had family there and texted to get some tips for my quick 41hr weekend I planned w/my GF since I was away for 2/14. Awesome!

By the end of the day I had flown all 4 segments in the exit row 3 window 1 aisle and 3/4 with no middle passenger. Thank you AAngels!

Well we know DEQ11 and even some segments have been slow to post. I was hoping my early RT yesterday would get picked up in the Tuesday sweep, no luck. So with that I'm only at 20,794 EQM posted. I'd been stressing since I wanted my GOLD to post before I leave Thursday night for MGA. Miles towards stickers, 25% RDM bonus, etc. Spent 23 minutes on the phone with AAdvantage. A bit of hold time and the agent with permission from Supervisor (needed to do this 2x since the system rejected it the first time) forced my status to Gold. No stressing about my mileage now and checking 20x a day to see if it posts. YMMV but over the past month or so, I've had better than expected CS with every interaction. Rock on American!
