AC will clear you about 1 month before the flight if you have a B fare and requested upgrade.
Depending on the route. Based on my limited experience, for European routes, AC usually only has R2 when the flight is available for sale. After the 2 R seats are taken, it will be R0 until 1 month or 2 before the flight.
