On the other two accounts, which collect only a couple of hundred points each quarter, there was a completely different selection of Clubcard Rewards coupons, giving 40% off food at Cafe Rouge, £7.90 off a Family Value Snack Combo with any Cineworld ticket, 2 for 1 entry at any Merlin attraction, 40% off RAC breakdown cover, 25% off at Barcelo UK hotels, and 1000 bonus miles for opting in to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. All pretty useless.

I wonder what the threshold is for getting useful coupons rather than hopeless ones?
I was buying wine regularly from Tesco wine club (before it stopped) and at the start I was being offered 1000 points per £40 spend, it then increased to £75, then £100, to the point where it got to the ridiculous stage where they wanted me to spend £175 for 750 points - eh,no thanks. They clearly target the small spenders sucking them in with the big points offers. Once they have you identified as a "regular", they offer money off coupons instead of points ..that's Tesco's marketing strategy
