If I had any "whining" to do, it would be about applying the term "First Class" to a product that's clearly not. Whenever and however it is applied, a certain expectation comes with the term "First Class". The fact of the matter is however that domestic Coach Class service from the seventies was generally superior to what is being called "First Class" today.
There might be a lot less "whining" if the U.S. airlines called their forward cabin product something more akin to what it actually is - "Business Class" or "Comfort Class".
Whether or not the plane is safe or I can chose from hundreds of toilets has no relevance to the issue of branding this product with terminology suggesting its more than what it is.
