I think you should roll the dice on getting your upgrade ORD-NRT. I'm in the same situation for this weekend, but 72 hours out there are still 9 unsold J seats, so I'm feeling pretty confident. I'm not sure I understand your point above. Are you saying you'd pay for Business class to Europe and use the SWU to bump to F? If you can afford that, then maybe I change my vote. I love any opportunity to go F.
