This is something I had to raise with GP just today! Chasing missing points from a stay. (5k points were offered as an incentive for me to "downgrade" from a suite using a confirmed Diamond suite upgrade to a deluxe room, as their was some issue with the suite availability. I accepted their offer and downgraded, but the points did not post with the normal stay points.)

I was told by GP today that I should wait 4-6 weeks for this manual posting to credit. Pretty poor if you ask me, and nothing like SPG which posts stays in 7 days, and allows the hotel a response time of 5 working days for issues which require chasing up from the hotel.

Nothing like the 4-6 weeks that GP told me today. Is this the norm for Hyatt in dealing with Diamonds?
