Moderator Hat off: I've always thought that the Gx bonuses were designed so that you had to specifically request it in an effort not to hand out "lots" of points (I know that now all here agree - but imagine if the Gx bonus applied to all Gold Passport members who were staying at the properties). When it was announced that they would be gone for "awhile" so that a way to automate them, I knew they would either be gone or greatly reduced. This is especially knowing that Hyatt doesn't want to increase redemption rates and the fact that the credit card (and the points generated by that) had been introduced. Something had to give from the point generating side or redemptions would become very hard to get or big point devaluation would have to occur.

They really need to fix the inconsitent posting of points from room revenue though - that cannot go away since that is the core of the program.
