Sirius is worth about 7 per cent of your spend back in meals, spa, drinks or rooms at other Jumeirah hotels. Of course, you need to be somewhere where there is one, easy for me to say as I have 2 within 15 minutes walk of my front door.

You won't get points if you book a travel agents special package, but you will on extras.

There are also some airline miles options instead of points, although not many and points are a better deal.

Bestattravel, link above, Simon Eves, have given me some good price quotes for Al Qasr in the past, not sure what they can do for DAM. Never used them, though, due to cancellation policy and loss of Sirius points.
