I think that you've had a bad string of "luck".

Some comments:

1) Improperly posting of points - that is a very common problem that Hyatt should fix "fast" - I know there are exclusions from earning points (tax, tip, most valet parking, charges that are paid to an outside vendor) but there is absolutely no reason that the base room points should not post properly.

2) Bedding type - you are correct that you are not entitled to the bedding type guarantee since the specific reservation overrides the request - it is frustrating if you stay at this property a lot going forwards perhaps you can speak to the sales manager to see if they can add the king bedded room to your corporate contract rate.

3) BRG / Suite Upgrade - It seems like they are loosening the rules for application of a BRG (it used to be next to impossible to get one) so this is good news. Suite upgrade, if something unusual is on the reservation, the suite upgrade can get "lost". In Oct I had a stay that had the suite upgrade attached but I had registered my partner (by name) on the reservation, and the report that the property ran to allocate the suites came up with his name (and not mine) without the suite upgrade attached so we weren't preassigned a suite - fortunately there was 1 available (on the lowest room floor of the property - but that meets the criteria). So there needs to be some work done on this issue.

4) Amenity - you probably got a new desk clerk who aren't aware of what the amenities are really like and the delivery schedule is manual and not automated.

In my view, not that I don't occasionally have frustrations with service at Hyatt, I find that overall they usually deliver more than promised according to the T&Cs. I'm not that familiar with Hilton but am also SPG Platinum which often doesn't give you much (if you don't get that elusive suite upgrade).
