I decided to stay here since half of my meetings wound up being at my company's Gurgaon offices right nearby the hotel.
The one comment I have right off the bat is that while materials are nice enough this place just screams poor craftmanship. It's really a shame to see such nice materials wasted like this. Some examples, there is not a single seam in the room where two distinct materials (like the travertine on the floor and the blond wood veneer on the walls) meet where the transition is professional. Some of the seams look like my 3 year old daughter did the work. Things like clothes hooks that are supposed to be attached to the travertine outside the shower are loose or fall off. There are litterally 30 instances of this sort of poor craftsmanship around my room.
Aside from that, the service must have improved since some of the earlier posts. I had a 5AM arrival and the car service was there on time and helped me navigate the process of getting a local SIM card. The hotel had properly read the notes in my reservation (that started the night before, so I would have a room when I arrived at 6:30am) and they set me up with a very nice driver with a sweet BWM X1 that took me from meeting to meeting today.
I relaxed by the pool and did some email this evening and will go check out one of the F&B outlets. The lounge had a fairly basic but perfectly adequate breakfast. Overall, it's a perfectly good place, but like I said, the execution on the room finishes is really weak.
