Sorry to resurrect a (kind-of) old thread, but recently have gotten interested on how to transport a fountain pen during a flight.

How in the world does one keep a fountain pen upright for that long?

Really, I want to know so I can try to replicate it.

Or, I'm thinking to just continue with my normal routine of carrying a (MB) ballpoint for my flights...

I've got to hand it to FT, though. Just about every travel-related question has been asked, whether you've thought of the question before or not... ^
