If you've got EF access, there's a great tool in Travel Information that will let you put in your proposed routing and tell you if it meets the MPM for your chosen carrier. In the fare section, there's a routing rules column that will tell you the ticketed point deductions. For example, a lot of TATL fare rules will give a TPD of 600 miles for travel via PAR. This means if you connect in CDG, you can travel an extra 600 miles.
Thanks. I found the MPM in the EF routing column by looking at Y fares.
As a follow-up, how does DL and its partners calculate the mileage for short segments under 500 miles? This could potentially come into play based on which domestic or EU Skyteam hub we use.
