Looks like you will be here for almost 3 weeks... plenty of time for all the first time tourist destinations. In addition, you may want to consider spending some time further south in San Diego. We can help you sketch out a rough itinerary if you give us a little bit more info.
Hi bzcat. My eldest has been there before but too young too remember. Just looking for somewhere to relax. Does not have to be on the beach but a good pool and good restaurants in close proximity essential. Yes we would have a car for the duration. Have no problem heading up or down the coast either.

Any suggestions on cheap rental co's and park tickets also appreciated.
