This maybe what CX is thinking.... who knows? EWR was perhaps being considered, because they felt there was more growth in the NYC market, but that slots could not be obtained at JFK?
This has been posted numerous times before by numerous people that actually lives in the Tri-State Area. To think casual folks would take the trip to JFK for CX is wishful thinking. Now, CX might have someone like me on the hooks, because I have an incentive to keep my DM status. As soon as my company grants me the wish to not travel as often you will see me traveling exclusively from EWR. (Then again I will probably stick with CX and maintain GO if I still travel 60K a year, but lower than that, I won't.)
