Some of you need to relax because your anger is bizarre. Pilots are mostly male. A post upthread said 97% of the pilots are male. I thought it was more like 99% male. The FA said nothing negative but instead gave praise that this aircraft was actually piloted by a woman. How rare that is.

I think that's kind of irrelevant. The woman earned her status as a pilot, pure and simple. Saying "and she's a lady" seems demeaning, as if to say, "and shockingly, she's a lady!".
