So for me, who only just scrapes Gold (last year finished with exactly 1500 TP;s), but does so on the notoriously expensive Nigeria routes at £5500 a ticket or thereabouts, probably I have a higher CIV than someone who does transatlantic routes where competition is existent.
In any event...I don't recall ever getting my food served in any order other than due to where I sit. I think it only adds value in terms of UG's, but as you are in F anyway...not relevant at all.
I've heard before about the £500 per point formula. Is this just direct spend on BA flights, or does it include flights on codeshares (either booked on BA metal through AA or AA metal through BA) or even third party products such as the the BA Amex Card - where BA gets a kick-back.
