CIV score and order of service in F?

Dear All,

I am currently in NYC (from LHR) thanks to a 241. I flew here in F and am going back on the JFK-LCY service.

I am not a seasoned traveller, and therefore am not as experienced as a lot of people who post in this forum. I have hardly any experience in flying in a premium cabin and this trip has been possible and has been planned thanks to advice I have read in this forum. I posted questions in here in the past which helped me plan my trip and I had promised to post a TR. I am in the process of writing my TR and will post it when I have completed my trip in a week or so.

To help my understanding of my experience so far, and to help me with my TR, I would appreciate answers to the following two questions:

1. What is a CIV score? How is it calculated and what impact (if any) does it have on on your service / flight experience?

2. What would you say is the order of priority service in F (I'm thinking with regards to meal choices) - do people who have reward bookings in F have higher, the same, or lower priority compared to people who have been op'uped who are Gold or Silver card holders?

Many thanks!

P.S. I know that threads in here can sometimes turn a little sour. I would appreciate it if we didn't read too much into my 'motives' for asking these two questions - I will explain everything in due course!
