A while back, I was reading Murakami's
Underground about the sarin attacks in the Tokyo subway. One scene -- and remember, these are all actual accounts -- has a bunch of the injured with vision problems, paralyzed limbs, breathing difficulties etc staggering/being ferried into a nearby hospital. What's the hospital's idea of first aid? Hook 'em all up to IV drips.
