FWIW, you can call the 1k reservation line and ask for the "1k web support". Still ICC, but good agents, and almost no wait going this route. And the same applies if you ever need to talk to Mileage Plus. I always call 1k line and ask to be transferred.

It is somewhat odd. 1k line was staffed fine and answered immediately. CO platinum line took > 30 mins each time. If this is the future of 1k line... very worried.
