It is a lack of business common sense. FT posters on one thread will throw a fit about a mistake they made, a minor inconvenience, or other every day problem of air travel and demand miles in exchange. For some unknown reason, DL usually hands them miles to shut them up instead of telling them to pound sand. Millions more miles enter the system, devalues them. This gives the same people ammunition to start a new thread about the devaluation of SkyMiles.

Switching this to a revenue based system instead of a miles based system would separate the customers that bring the most value to the program. Until then, b&#%h away at how valuabler you are and that DL just doesn't understand what they are doing.
