I stayed at the HGI in 2010 and had a very pleasant experience. We arrived a day later than planned due to the "ash cloud" issue. The hotel was very accomodating. We rode the bus that stopped near the hotel, and only used cabs from the airport upon arrival and to the train station upon departure.
