Hmm what I meant was what a friend calls Dubai bling. Gold heels, leopard skin, lots of make up. Lots of people anxious to show how much money they have. Flashing the cash. All about the show.
But as I said it was a weekend lunch in December and probably not guests.
Oh, Barnaby that is funny. I get it now. There are occasions where we have experienced this scenario, chavvy, exactly as described ... never at FS Boston but absolutely yes at the SLS LA and FS Denver. Was way out of my element but enjoyed sitting in the lobby people watching with my 18 year old daughter. The SLS crowd got out of hand though and we had to pack up and leave.
