I actually did have a concierge call me once proactively when Mrs. YVR's flight was going to be late and she would risk mis-connecting. We moved her to an earlier flight so that she wouldn't have to wait several hours in YYZ. Neither of us had status at the time, but she was flying on an Aeroplan reward ticket to Europe in Exec First.
