I'll be there in a few weeks and can provide current details on the rooms afterward.
The old Sheraton, according the map in the 11th edition (2005) Lonely Planet India, was due south of the Taj, with the address only given as Fatehabad Road.

The ITC Mughal per the SPG site is at Taj Ganj Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282001, and the SPG site map puts it far west of the Taj. But I just looked it up on Google, and off to the side of the results is the Google map, and it does put it due south of the Taj. So is the SPG map totally wrong?

Here's the link to the SPG site map:

Go to Google Maps and put in "ITC Mughal" to see the completely different location that Google Maps puts it at (which seems to match the 2005 Lonely Planet for the old Sheraton).
