-a maze of a hotel, which can be charming. Or not. The public areas have a freshness about them, but my room, though spacious, was VERY dated. Clean and spacious, but with lumpy mattress and tired furnishings.

-service is VERY friendly, always with a smile, but with a hint of insincerity.

One of a few issues - I was awakened this morning around 7am, and it was, by the manager's admission, the hotel's fault. The manager, while being very honest that the hotel was in error, offered nothing more than a smile and a "sorry". To have been awakened so abrubtly was just cause for the manager to offer something to make amends, but not here. Dutch culture? I don't know. Insincere where I come from.

Not worth paying alot for, imo.
