I might have this wrong but I think you need to be careful re the 150 shell points = 75 avios = 2000 avios "quarter bonus"
Whilst this is true, the site says they only transfer 10 avios when you reach 20 shell points. So in practice, a new shell user needs to earn 160 points = 80 avios in order to breach the 75avios/quarter threshold.
