Fortunately for the OP, most taxis from MIA would take the 115 (Airport Expressway) to 95/195 then on to Bal Harbour, and avoid the Dolphin....^

But as newyorkgeorge mentioned....maybe the hotel has some resonably priced options for transport that may work for your needs?
