Does anyone know if you can stick a pre-paid SIM card into an iPad and have it work? I'm pretty sure iPads are unlocked, and I don't want voice in France I just want decent data for my (and my SOs) iPads.

If anyone knows if something like this works then I would greatly appreciate hearing about it.
