My fiancee and I recently made a trip to LAS, where I rented a car from Hertz for a week. Fortunately LAS has the Gold Choice option available, so we skipped our assigned car (an Altima with close to 30k miles on it) and instead got a brand new Camry with 3 miles on it.

When we got to the airport to drop the car off, one Hertz employee took care of the receipt and another Hertz-badged employee approached us. He offered to give us a ride back to the airport terminal in our car. He said he does this for about 30 customers a day, and that this is a new program that Hertz is trying out. He generally chooses families with kids on weekends, and branches out to couples travelling for leisure on weekdays. He called this the "Drive Back" program. It saved us probably 15 minutes of time.

This was a GREAT experience, and if Hertz starts offering this more often, I will happily pick Hertz over other rental car companies.
