Had the same problem 3 times last year from LHR-GLA-KOI, never seems to be a problem going south, thankfully nice Loganair/Flybe staff issued tickets to save us the hassle of going landside. This problem only raised its head last year as we travelled numerous times in 2010 and boarding passes were issued without any hassle in LHR.
