Work is taking me to Sao Paulo on the March 7th (though I may go on the 6th for a jolly). Returning from AUS on the 17th, internals are dealt with separately.

They've done some quick research and so they know that the ballpark figure is $1000US for the above, economy (difficult times!)

Much more than that and I'd have to contribute, which is fine of course if I get to keep my benefits... can anyone think of a way of getting 80 TP for that first leg?

Breaking the journey up could help? 10 for LHR to MAD, then ? for MAD-GRU?
Maybe a cash upgrade to premium economy from LHR?

Thanks for your help all...

Tom
I have flown WTP to GRU on the last 3 trips when searching for WT availability. BA.com actually offered a WTP fare as it was cheper than WT in Y/B/H.

If it is short notice then talk to CS and get them to quote WT rtn and WTP/WT split.

You could always take a flight to SCL or EZE with LAN whislt you are down there, discount Y is 10TP each way. fully flexible Y+ on LAN is 50TP rtn and often cheaper than discounted Y.
