Train Travel through Italy

Hello Everyone,

My wife and I are going to Italy in September for a wedding and spending 10 days to tour

We plan on using the train THREE TIMES:

Rome to Naples
Naples to Florence
Florence to Rome

1. Is there a difference between EuroRailways or RailEurope
2. Is it better to get a three day pass and then pay for the tickets later, it appears $10 or so to get a reservation OR purchase tickets ahead of time
3. How long does it take to get to Rome to Capri? logical expectation, we are flying into Rome and the wedding is in Capri

Thoughts

Even Hotel thoughts would be helpful

Thank you!
