Does your credit card let you redeem points for visa/mc gift cards?

If points don't work out, just pony up the cash for a couple of nights and stay in one of the business class hotels for the rest of the time. More often then not I'm disappointed with 5*s, but the few times I didn't book the 5* I wanted, I've wondered about what I was missing for months.
